Triple Five® Worldwide and Gensler Select AVCON Thermoplastic Railing System for Meadowlands American Dream Project DreamWorks Waterpark
Custom Designed Railing Will Provide Maintenance-Free Safety for One of World’s Largest Indoor Amusement Parks
We are thrilled to share the news that over 14,700 LF of custom AVCON Thermoplastic Railing will be installed at the Meadowlands, NJ American Dream megamall project’s DreamWorks waterpark. The colorful designed picket, glass, and queue railings will provide safety and aesthetics to the 8 acre glass-domed, animation-themed waterpark.
“Initially Gensler, their global Architectural firm, contacted us for assistance with a smaller section of railing for the waterpark. After meeting with the design team onsite and educating them on the advantages and design flexibility of our Thermoplastic Railing System, Gensler quickly presented it to their client for use throughout the entire park.”, shares AVCON’s Sales Executive, Gina Herbert.
Klint Stanley, President & Managing Partner, AVCON notes “We are excited to work with Triple Five® Worldwide on the American Dream Project, the experience AVCON has gained over the years working with waterparks across the country positions us to be an integral part of what will be one of the largest and most technologically advanced indoor waterparks in the world. As a New Jersey-based manufacturer, it’s an incredible honor to work with them and ensure the safety of their visitors for years to come.”
Triple Five Worldwide has partnered with DreamWorks to create a unique, fun, and very colorful indoor waterpark–a perfect fit for the AVCON Thermoplastic Railing System. This unique railing solution uses state of the art materials which are specially formulated to withstand the damaging effects of salt spray, chemicals, ultraviolet light, abuse, and other site conditions eliminating the worry of rust, corrosion, or paint chipping as the vibrant colors are part of the coating materials surrounding the metal core. AVCON has successfully installed this railing material at most major amusement parks across the U.S.A. in addition to sports arenas, stadiums, schools, airports, bus and train stations, and hotels/condominiums.
Over the next several months we will continue to share behind the scenes updates on this exciting project. For a quick overview of the size and scope of the entire American Dream Mall Project check out this brief “fly-over” video:
